Menna Fitzpatrick and Jennifer Kehoe bagged their fourth World Cup medal in what has been a superb showing at the Para Alpine Skiing World Cup in Austria.

Fitzpatrick, along with guide Kehoe, claimed bronze in the visually impaired slalom on the slopes of Kuhtai, to complete a hugely successful four days for the pair.

Runs of 59.05 and 1:00.04, third quickest in both rounds, was good enough for the overall bronze medal as the duo continue their solid form with PyeongChang 2018 just around the corner.

It could have been even better for the Brits, but German Noemi Ewa Ristau finished a combined 0.12 seconds faster to take the silver.

Slovakian skier Henrietta Farkasova clocked the fastest runs in both rounds to take gold, 3.6 seconds quicker than her nearest challenger.

Fellow Brit Kelly Gallagher narrowly missed out on a podium finish as she and guide Gary Smith finished fourth, while Millie Knight could not add to her first World Cup medal of the season on Thursday, finishing sixth overall with guide Brett Wild.

The third-place finish for Fitzpatrick and Kehoe makes it two silvers and two bronzes overall in Austria, placing in the medals in each race in which they competed.

Elsewhere, James Whitley and Matt Short missed out on medals in the men’s slalom standing.
