Created for winter glory: adidas unveils new ParalympicsGB kit for PyeongChang 2018
With a month until the start of PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Games adidas have unveiled the new ParalympicsGB and Team GB kit to be worn by athletes as they compete for medals in South Korea.
The design for 2018 is a fusing of design creative from the past and present combined with the most advanced sports apparel and footwear technology from adidas. The new kit is engineered to provide unparalleled movement and precision in competition as well as a perfect fit bespoke to each athlete.
The inspiration for the aesthetic of the new kit has been taken from not only the traditional British national colours of red, white and blue, but also a graphic feature born out of Korean calligraphy to pay homage to the nation hosting its first Winter Games and only the third hosted in an Asian city.
The range of kit being supplied to athletes includes highly technical sprint suits for events such as the luge and skeleton bobsleigh, designed for speed with aerodynamics at their core, through to pieces such as the snowboarding and curling jackets, designed with freedom of movement and breathable warmth as the focus.
Certain Team GB items in the range will also be available for fans to purchase via adidas.co.uk including the official beanie hat, ZNE Hoody and Climawarm fleece scarf.
