Toby Gold

The aptly named Toby Gold won his first senior European gold medal in Grosseto in 2016, banishing any disappointment from the bronze he earned at the World Championships in 2015.

A member of the illustrious Weir Archer Academy, Gold claimed his first Paralympic medal at Rio 2016 when he claimed T33 100m silver.

Earlier in 2016 he finished a degree and a dissertation on sports media and is also the coach of a wheelchair basketball team.

In 2017 Gold competed in front of a home crowd at the London 2017 World Championships where he repeated his Paralympic performance and claimed 100m silver.
