Polly Maton

After competing at the IPC Athletics World Championships on her 16th birthday in 2015, Maton certainly had a story to tell her school friends. She returned home as a GB international and finished eighth in the long jump on her senior debut at a global competition.

After being spotted at a talent ID event Maton went on to win three gold medals at the IWAS Junior Championships in 2014 when she was only 14 years old.

She competed for ParalympicsGB at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games where she finished fifth in the T46 100m and 7th in the T46 long jump. A year later she competed at the World Championships in London where she won silver in the long jump.
