Ollie Nugent

Ollie was introduced to football 7-a-side by his P.E. teacher at the age of 12, when he went to a development camp for the sport at Lilleshall National Sports Centre.

He is one of the youngest footballers to play for the England senior team and helped his country secure a 5th place finish at the 2015 Cerebral Palsy World Championships at St. George’s Park – their best ever result - and confirm a place for ParalympicsGB at Rio 2016.

He has also shown potential for the professional game, with interest from Tranmere Rovers  and Chester FC amongst others.

On his Games debut at Rio 2016 Ollie helped the ParalympicsGB side to secure a fifth-place finish. Bronze medallists Brazil and gold medallists Ukraine were the only two teams to beat them in the tournament.
