Nicole is an experienced para-triathlon guide having first guided in 2013. She is part of the UK Sport Lottery Funded Great Britain Para-triathlon Squad and is based in Bath.
Nicole grew up in Derby and took part in several different sports including gymnastics, basketball, horseriding and swimming, but her main sport was squash, which she played to National level before taking up triathlon at university. She qualified for the Age-Group World Championships at Sprint and Olympic distance in her first year in the sport as well as competing in a number of longer distance events, before switching to road racing and time trialling for a couple of years. She came back to triathlon in 2013 and achieved immediate success guiding Melissa Reid to world championships gold in London.
She made her Paralympic debut at Rio 2016, guiding Melissa Reid. The pair won bronze in the women's PT5 event in dramatic style after overtaking their American rivals in the closing metres of the race.
Nicole has a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Bath.
