Isaac Towers began wheelchair racing in 2010 and in 2013 was nominated for the BBC Young Sport Personality of the Year.
In 2014 he made his first statement on the international scene when he claimed a silver medal in the 800m and a bronze medal in the 400m at the European Championships in Swansea.
In 2016 he produced more memorable performances at European level when he added 800m gold to his collection along with 400m silver and 200m bronze.
That year he represented ParalympicsGB at Rio 2016 and a year later claimed World Championship bronze in the 800m in London.
